Pinellas County publishes a live Watering Schedule and Rules page. It includes guidance about pressure washing as well as irrigation. The applicable rules can depend on the water supplier, the property and the purpose of the work. Do not rely on an old screenshot or a neighbor’s schedule.
First, describe the work accurately
Is this routine appearance cleaning, or preparation for another specific project such as painting or sealing? The county may treat those differently. Tell the service provider exactly what surfaces are involved and why they need cleaning; do not describe routine cleaning as preparation for another job if it is not.
Check the official source close to the service date
Open the county page before confirming a date. If your water comes from another utility, check that supplier’s rules as well. Restrictions and exceptions may change, so this article intentionally does not list a fixed watering day, hour or blanket permission to pressure wash.
Make the quote useful even if scheduling must wait
Send photos of the driveway, pavers, siding, fence or other area; the property address; approximate size; surface condition; and any upcoming painting or sealing project. Those details help define the scope. The work should only be scheduled when it is allowed under the rules that apply to the property.
Questions worth asking
- Which surfaces and areas are included in the quote?
- What water source will be used, and which rules apply to it?
- Is the work tied to a genuine painting or sealing project?
- Should the timing change because of current restrictions?
This is a homeowner checklist, not an interpretation of local law. For current requirements, use the official Pinellas County rules and your water supplier.
